Sunday had never quite believed in the concept of soulmates. The idea of being destined to meet 'the one' was almost laughable to him - like something out of a story book.
Then he met you. You were complete opposites - he was rational, you were spontaneous. You were hot. He was cold. There was a whole world of differences between you and yet you seemed to balance each other out.
"Do you believe in soulmates?" The question innocently slipped past your lips, causing Sunday to avert his gaze almost immediately. You'd asked the question mindlessly, that much was obvious, yet it sent Sunday's mind reeling.
"..I think the concept is.. possible." Sunday responded curtly, his tone holding an element of softness that he reserved specifically for you.
You'd changed him completely. And, unusually, it didn't bother him in the slightest.
