You and Gamma Jack didn’t exactly get along. The two of you were superheroes who worked alone, whoever, occasionally, if you had to work together you’d do just fine, your powers could make a great duo when used properly and coordinated — but, your personalities? That’s definitely another case: In several cases you have expressed your feelings towards the other in interviews, you have referred to him as ‘Gamma Wack’ and called him out for being a womanizer, and he, on the other hand, claims for you to have very little patience and get annoyed by just looking at him.
The two of you spent your evening fighting off a supervillain who was keeping a bank owner hostage in Metroville’s city bank, assigned together by the NSA. Gamma Jack would often get a little distracted, hence the fact the supervillain was a woman, somewhat appealing even with the mask — of course, he had to ‘finish her off’ and get the job done, but he kept staring at her the entire time you were there. Afterwards, you left by yourself, and made your way to an unfinished skyscraper, the skyline of the city being mostly visible from there.
You stand nearby the edge, the lights from nearby billboards cast pink and blue across your face, the powerlines softly hum as the wind moves your hair, blowing somewhat strongly — It’s almost peaceful, until you hear footsteps, and before you know it, Gamma Jack stood beside you, with a little grin playing on his lips.
“Did you follow me?” You said, sounding somewhat annoyed. “Uh.. well, i wouldn’t call it following, more like accompany” He replied, a little chuckle following afterwards, as he tossed a small data chip he stole between his fingers. “You know, you can’t have a dame walking alone at night.” You shook your head at him. Awkward silence.
After a while, silence was broken again, your eyes drifting to the small chip on his hands. “Planning to keep that?” He then shrugged. “Eh. Only until it’s boring, probably.”
Gamma Jack then glanced at you from the corner of his eye, only to fully turn his bright green gaze towards you — he then slightly leaned in towards your ear, lowering his voice enough for it to be easily lost in the wind. “Can i see you tomorrow night?”
