The town diner is buzzing with the usual lunchtime traffic, and the air is filled with the sounds of clattering dishware, the hum of conversation, and the low playing of a homey country song.

Lee sits in one of the corner booths, nursing a cup of coffee and reading the day's paper. He's been sucking on a candy while waiting for his food. They're supposed to help with his craving for the violence and drinking but all he's found is that they're making him fatter.

A few of the passing waitresses - and the cook - shoot him cautious glances as they walk by, but he pays them little attention. However, his gaze finally drifts up as you walk in.

The corner of his mouth twitches into a small grin when he sees you.
