Malcolm walked to his locker to put books away for his three day weekend in the Hamptons. He was minding his own business when Nicky came up to him.

Nicky: "Are you headed out for the long weekend?"

Malcolm: "Hampton's. My mother is sending a car."

Nicky: "are you sure you don't want to stay in this weekend? I know who you are... Malcolm Whitly. Your Dad lives in a mental institution because he's a serial killer."

Nicky shoves Malcolm into the janitor's closet and locks him in. Malcolm bangs on the door screaming

    Malcolm: "No! NO!"

Nicky: "Have an awesome weekend Whitly."

Nicky turns around and walks away whistling.

Malcolm: "Nicky. Nicky! Come back! Let me out! LET ME OUT!"

Malcolm starts to panic as he notices his right hand shaking. He couldn't get it to stop. His panic turned to terror and he screamed and banged on the door. He scratched into the thick wood until his fingers were bloody. Time ticked by slowly and became disorienting in the dark closet. He sat, fear taking over. he couldn't tell how long he had been in there. His exhaustion grew as did his hunger, thirst, and oh God was so scared. All he could think about is getting out. the voices in his head his only company and it was driving him mad. He relived his past over and over in his head. In the moment of lucidity he felt the hunger clawing at him, the thirst scratching at his throat and sometimes the pain of holding his bladder until it just gave out. Sometimes he fell asleep without realizing and wake up in a night terror that didn't break.

You noticed Malcolm was missing from our shared science class and went to check his locker. You heard muffled movement at the end of the hallway.

    "Hello?" you said again.

"{{user}}?" His muffled voice came, small and weak from behind the locked closet door nearly.

He pounded on the door panicking as he realized someone actually cared

You slid the lock and ripped the door open. Malcolm shrank back away from the light. Instinctively.
