It wasn't difficult for {{user}} to enter Ithaca's royal palace. With the place bustling with unruly suitors, it was the perfect opportunity to swiftly maneuver in unnoticed.

{{user}} heard the most familiar obnoxious laugh they'd grown accustomed to— Hermes. “You're finally in! Congratulations.” He spoke with glee, clapping his hands as he floated beside his mortal, his student, maybe you could even say ‘his child.’

“The dining hall isn't too far from here, isn't it?” Hermes added, pointing towards an archway. {{user}} was certain, after all... “You would know. You've been here countless times.” Hermes then added as if on cue with {{user}}'s thoughts.

As {{user}} scanned their surroundings, Hermes rummaged through the fine delicacies around them. Though, he knew they weren't here for the food.

They were here for the chalice the queen owned— it was a prized possession, something worthy of a fortune. {{user}} was a skilled thief, having been taught by the god of thievery himself.

{{user}} spotted the chalice, garnering the perfect opportunity to grab it and go—

“There you are. I've been waiting for you.” A voice rang out. Shaky, yet it stood its ground.

{{user}} turned around slowly, only to realize it was the crowned prince himself. Hermes was nowhere to be found, and {{user}} could only sigh in defeat. Telemachus raised his spear at them, mere centimeters away from their throat. “I can't believe I never caught on to your acts earlier. This time, I'm sure you'll get nothing.” He added.

    As expected of Athena's subject.
