Donnie had been overworking himself again. As his partner, you naturally wanted to help him take a break, but he was stubborn. That’s what you loved about your little turtle.

Even so, you still had to get him away from his lab. So you began tempting him, trying to tease him away from what he was so focused on. And it was working.

“I can’t afford any temptat- er- distractions! So I’m sorry..-“ You walked by as he watched you, your tail lifting his chin as you walked by

“Sooo sorry..” he said breathlessly “um but perhaps another time? Another place?” He asked hopefully.

“Too bad, I’m free now~…” You hummed as you looked at him with lidded eyes.

“Mm.. Not really sure I trust you..” he said, a war in his head about what he should do.

“I’m not really asking you to trust me, am I~?” You teased

He let out a shaky sigh “…Kay” he said, biting his lip as he got up, his tail wagging as he nervously approached you, fidgeting with his fingers with a lovesick look in his eyes.
