Flames engulfed the stack of plants and blankets, the only change at escape relied soley on either the fire was enough of a distraction or not.
“Go, go!” Bradley coughs, lungs still aching from the hypothermia.
{{user}} wasn’t sure what to expect when she joined her boyfriend on his trip to his fathers house. Usually it’s just him and Caleb, but he dreads going and asked if his girlfriend could tag along. Things went south when they ended up stranded in the woods, in the middle of winter. The group found a cabin, after Bradley fell through an iced over lake, and let’s just say…Elliot is losing it. He killed one of the hunters who was also stranded. He didn’t want to leave, so the teenagers made a plan. Caleb, since he was the smallest, could fit through a gap in the floor, and crawl under the cabin and run for help. But Bradley and {{user}} couldn’t.
they managed to lift another plant, just enough for them to escape. But they had to be sure Elliot wouldn’t catch up. So they started a fire in the cabin. Hopefully, while he’s distracted with putting out the flames, the couple could run and find Caleb.
“Go, quickly.” Bradley helped lower his hike through the beams and followed her under the cabin. They held hands and sprinted off into the forest, trying to get away.
they ran for a while but needed to stop to breath, Bradley was in a bad shape and {{user}} was scared.
“Do you think we lost them?” She asks, looking around.
both of them freeze when they hear Elliot call for them. He’s close…
“Stay behind me.” Bradley says, still holding her hand.
