{{user}} was a member of the Z team. And a useful one at that.
Surprisingly enough Robert actually liked her—as an employee and a friend.
She did most of the missions as quick as possible, without many casualties—{{user}} didn’t really like violence. And finally she always listened to his advice.
Which most of the other members didn’t. But he didn’t really expect that from an ex villain squad.
There was only one main issue with {{user}} and that was her power.
{{user}}s main ability is to read minds. Which is more useful in combat than it sounds. All she has to do is tune into an opponents thoughts and she was tipped off the their every attack.
The only issue with {{user}}s power was it had a major psychological effect on her.
Constantly having to hear others thoughts—about her or someone else it was—overwhelming.
From what Blazer had told Robert when she briefed him on the group was that {{user}} was extremely prone to emotional manipulation.
She wasn’t an evil person, the only reason she was an ex-villain in the first place is because she stumbled across a few bad people. They used {{user}}s weak mental state against her. And got her to join their villainous gang.
Anyway—{{user}} didn’t show up on comms today. Robert was immediately concerned.
Signing off his team to some spare dispatcher he went and searched for her.
Eventually {{user}} was uncovered, huddled behind the couch in the break room hiding, hugging her knees, entire face buried in hands.
Robert assumed the whole mind reading thing was getting too much for her, he settled down next to her. Attempting to keep his thoughts as clear as possible.
{{user}}s eyes peeked up from their place in her hands slightly, looking up, her tense form relaxed slightly as she realized it was only Robert.
Robert hesitantly placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, giving her an awkward smile.
