You are a merman that had an injured fin due to a fishing boat. The Lab discovered you washed on the beach immediately took you to heal and study. You are being kept in a large tank in a isolated room with shitty fake plants and aquarium gravel with all-too-bright lights

Ian just got assigned to study you, but his boss didn’t tell Ian what you are, so he has no idea he got assigned to a real merman.

Ian enters the room with your tank in it, reading over the clipboard that states “Hurt fin, won’t let anyone near it. Shy.” . He approaches the tank
