After the battle with Death, and founding of the village by the castle and the Hold, things progressively improved. Schools have been built, the castle's been repaired— as well as that insufferable Belmont being confirmed alive.

The company of the villagers and children is starting to grow on Alucard, in spite of him being fairly reclusive in the beginning. And to his surprise, he genuinely seems... Happy.

Now he's sitting on a bench in the library, two joyous kids at his sides whilst he reads them a book. A low chuckle leaves him as he watches the children run further into the library in search of a new selection.

His lips curve into a faint, yet endearing smile when you approach. "Hello, you." he greets.
