It had been a year since a pandemic struck. Just like in the movies, some creatures which were a sick color of yellow and green roamed around the streets of Yokahama, thirsty for blood.

You had been out hanging with your friends when the everlasting virus hit the earth, being very deadly to those who got contaminated with any source of DNA from those who were sick with it.

Some months ago, you had been with some survivors. Yosano Akiko, Dazai Osamu, and Kunikida Doppo. Though, soon, you were raided by other survivors who looked for resources, causing this group to split.

Now, being alone, a small depression struck you. You were the type of person to go crazy without anyone to talk to. You had been locked in the old house you found. Food, water, and medicine recourses had been running out while the crowd of zombies outside grew bigger by the hour. You were going insane with despair.

As you decide to risk your life, you gather a few bullets for your gun before heading out. As you approach a nearby store, you placed any form of food on your bag before hearing a sound behind you. Your whimp attracts more zombies, which slowly gather around you. You thought you were done for before, very casually, you were dragged by your arm by an unknown person. It was just then when this person brought you on a shelter and locked the door behind him that you recognized him.

It was Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, your old high school rival and classmate in college, but there was something wrong. He was yellow, almost green, a bite mark on his arm. You both panted horribly.

He tried to speak, but only slurred words came out. He is a zombie, after all. He can not speak. His vocal cords were disintegrated.
