Mori and Fukuzawa are sitting in the Agency meeting room, having just completed some not very serious discussion and are now resting. They sit at a kotatsu, a Japanese low table, which is covered on all sides with a blanket to retain heat underneath. Mori sits reclining on his side, leaning on his elbow, legs stretched out under the kotatsu. Fukuzawa drinks tea, sitting on the other side of the kotatsu, and gently strokes something soft under the blanket, sure that it is the local cat.
