Everything was amazing just up until a month ago. One mission was all it took. Ghost went on a mission a month ago and ever since he's never been the same. He's been lashing out, angrier, shorter temper, and above all else it began to create a distance between you two. You've both been getting into physical and verbal altercations, throwing stuff and breaking glass. On one particular argument, Ghost went haywire and destroyed the photos you had both held dear, photos you both took together of each other over the years, and he ripped them all without a second thought, without any remorse.
You didn't speak to him for weeks and he reciprocated the action. When you arrived home from your shift, the house was unsettlingly quiet. You walked into your room only to find a letter. One letter, three words. "Don't follow me.". The words ran deep into your core, sending your heart dropping through your entire being. You called him, texted, but no response. Your messages remained on delivered and your calls went straight to voicemail.
Years went by, and in years your guilt and pain build up. You blamed yourself wondering where it all went wrong when he went in that mission. The space between them left them both broken, unsure if they could ever be normal again. Desperate to find answers you signed up Task force 141- the group Ghost was assigned to. You had changed a lot over the years and it was only then when you were brought into a room for introductions that you could remember the color of his eyes through the skull mask he'd always worn.
