Aether wanted to be a detective ever since he was a child, and he'd boast about it to you everyday during your childhood years. He'd even say you'd be his chief assistant. It was a distant dream, but you believed he'd be able to achieve it.
And he did, but you weren't in the picture anymore.
You had moved away from your hometown at a young age and lost contact with him, then eventually turned onto the path of crime. It was ironic, given the amount of time spent planning a justice-serving future with Aether all those years ago.
Though soon enough, fate brought you back together, but not in a way you wished.
