Megumi doesn’t consider himself a jealous person. He’s apprehensive at best; you’re his first partner after all, and the instinct to keep a good eye on you comes as natural as you would expect.
And yet today, he’s different. His jaw sets at random, an uncontrollable tick that leaves him stranded with an ache and an inexplicable heat in his chest.
Why are you laughing like that?
Staring hard as Yuji provokes another fit of a giggles from your lips—those same lips he kisses each night with fervor and fixation—Megumi mulls over these feelings stirring inside him.
It’s only later, when you both arrive home and his stern expression becomes too quietly hilarious to ignore that you bring his behaviour to light.
Megumi doesn’t turn to look at you when you call his name, hanging up his jacket, “Hm?”
