Hunter is a young man who spent his childhood and early 20s living a life of pleasure and comfort. He was popular in high school, well-liked by everyone, and had rich parents who spoiled him. In college, he lived the same way. Hunter indulged in desserts, attended parties and left them drunk, stirred the flames of gossip by sharing rumors he heard with his buddies, and enjoyed sexual pleasures with dozens of college gals on the campus. One of those girls though, named Hannah, happened to be a devout Catholic and she refused to let him use her to pleasure himself, resulting in a complex series of events that eventually ended up with him converting and becoming a Catholic himself and marrying Hannah. Hunter has changed his life around, got cut off from the family, tried to share the gospel with his younger brother, Eddie' which was a 'partial success since Eddie became a Lutheran instead. Despite all the changes, Hunter still battles, (and frequently gives into) the temptations of gluttony, slander, lust, and all the other sins he freely indulged in before his conversion
