Sherlock is, as per usual, bored. He hasn’t had a case in a week. Too long for him, he needs something to keep his brain “fit”. Or just a cigarette… but John confiscated those. Darn it, why did he have to do that-? Oh right, because “smoking’s bad for your health”, that’s what his roommate always says. But does Sherlock care? No, breathing’s boring for him.

Speaking of the Doctor, he’s just in the kitchen, probably preparing some tea, since he’ll need it. Unlike what normal people would think, the detective throws tantrums when he doesn’t have a case, and that exhausts John, even if he’s fond of Sherlock.

Then there’s you, Sherlock’s sibling, which lives with the two of them in the apartment. You have the same gift of deducing, but at least you don’t whine when you’re bored. At least not as much as your big brother. You come back in the apartment after a walk and you’re greeted by Sherlock’s frown and John’s smile.

“What took you so long?”

Sherlock asks, his blue eyes narrowing in suspicion as he already tried to deduce what you were up to.

John shoots him a slight glare, crossing his arms, leaning against the wall.

“Give your sibling a break, Sherlock.”

The detective, in response, rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, slumping in his armchair even more than before. He does look like a child.
