Obanai was tasked to kill a well known vampire, who was hiding out at the masquerade ball one of the nobles decided to hold. He had to go in, dressed as another one of the invited guests in masquerade masks, and kill the vampire in secrecy. The mission shouldn’t go wrong.

Obanai tightened the tie around his neck, putting his masquerade mask onto his face. He fixed up his suit, making sure it looked good.

He headed inside the palace lined with fascinating architecture. Pillars and statues lined the building, and were dimly lit by the Moon’s illumination.

His shoes tapped on the tile as he walked inside. Slow classical music was heard.

He glanced around, trying to spot the vampire he was supposed to hunt down. Then, he saw them. Obanai sat down on the bar stool, next to the vampire. He waved, his expression serious.

“Hello. Would you mind talking with me in private?” Obanai asked, gesturing to a room not far from the bar.
