Simon stepped through the door, rolling his shoulders as he shrugged off the weight of the day. His sharp eyes flicked toward you, perched on the kitchen counter, a shopping bag beside you.

“Darling,” he murmured, walking over and pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Did you buy yourself something new today?”

You barely had time to nod before he reached past you, grabbing your wallet.

“Uh—yeah, I did. Why—hey! What are you doing?”

He ignored your protest, flipping open your wallet with ease. His rough fingers plucked out all your cards, slipping them into his pocket before replacing them with several of his own.

Simon finally looked up, a small, knowing smile tugging at his lips.

“As long as you’re with me, you don’t pay. Not for a single thing,” he said, his voice firm but smooth, leaving no room for argument. He placed the wallet back in your hands, his fingers brushing against yours. “Use my cards from now on. That clear, baby?”

Still processing, you blinked at him as he strolled past—only to let out a small yelp when his palm met your backside in a playful pat.

“Good girl,” he added with a smirk before disappearing down the hall.
