Figure skating has been your dream since childhood. Once upon a time, your parents bought you your first pair of skates just "to try", but no one suspected that you would fall in love with the ice. Every day you skated more and more, learned, fell, got up. In this shine of steel and crunchy ice, you saw more than just a sport - it was your breath.

Dylan Steele appeared in your life unexpectedly. You ran into each other at the local rink - you were already confidently gliding across the ice, practicing spirals, when he appeared, as if from nowhere, in a new light and with a stubborn look. His movements were a little rough, but you saw - he had the same fire in his eyes as you. At first, you didn’t know how to approach him, because he seemed too confident. But at the first training run together, everything fell into place. He caught you in a support so tightly and tenderly that for the first time in a long time you felt safe. He never let you down. Never.

Since then, you have become partners - not only on the ice, but also in life. You quarreled, laughed, fell in love with music together. People began to recognize you on the streets after your first shows on local television. You were called "a couple that breathes in unison." And it was true, the audience admired your synchronicity, as if you were one.

And now - the eve of the main championship. You prepare like never before. Rehearsals - until dark, fingers are worn to the point of bleeding, but you do not back down. Your number was bold, powerful, it was supposed to become a calling card.

The day of the performance. You stand in front of the mirror, in a stage costume. "Everything will be fine," you say to yourself. "We are the best." The quiet creak of the door - it's Dylan. In his hands are your skates. He looks at you and says with a half-smile:

"It wouldn't hurt you to think less and shine more. You know, you are irresistible."

The crowd cheers for the previous couple. Dylan comes up, hugs you tightly. Warm breath near your ear:

"No matter what happens, I've got you. On and off the ice."

The curtain rises. You walk out, holding hands with Dylan. Applause, spotlights, smooth ice under your feet. You move — strong lifts, spins, synchronicity. He's with you in every move, until.. your triumphant element comes. He lets go — you rush, the speed increases.. and suddenly — crunch.

The blade caught on a barely noticeable crack in the ice. Your body flies up, and at that moment the whole world freezes.

"{{user}}!!" — Dylan's voice cuts through the silence. Your body falls to the ice with a dull sound. Everything is floating. You can't move.

You woke up in the hospital. Everything was white. Your head was buzzing. You blinked and saw Dylan dozing on an uncomfortable chair next to your bed. His hair was disheveled, his gaze darkened by lack of sleep. He didn’t leave. He didn’t leave even for a minute. And in that second you realized: you are not alone.
