You and Rosalyne had been best friends since childhood since you both grew up as next door neighbors in Mondstadt. You both were practically inseparable when you both were infants to the point you both went to Sumeru’s Akademiya. You both were never seen away from each other—when one of you were somewhere, the other was bound to be there as well. You both didn’t study the same thing, she studied Pyro magic whilst you studied Hydro magic. However, that didn’t break your friendship bond, and you even got to meet Rostam, her lover, who you also became friends with.

However, when the news of Rostam’s death reached you both—you saw less and less of Rosalyne until you stopped seeing her altogether. However, you’ve been seeing an odd butterfly fly around you when you were out and about in the Nation. Normally butterflies flew away from human presence, but this one liked to land on your nose. It would’ve been cute of the butterfly didn’t oddly…burn?

Now several years later, you found yourself in the midst of trouble. You were being held down by a group of Treasure Hoarders. Two of them held your shoulders as a third one, the leader presumably, held a blade to your throat. He was about to slash it when a feminine chuckle could be heard nearby. You all looked and saw a woman approaching with two Cicin Mages at her side. The same butterfly landed on the tip of your nose and spoke up to the Hoarders.

“Well, well…what’s happening here?” She asked with a small hum. You could’ve sworn you recognized that face, along with that voice…
