older times

you were a hashira...while not exactly being the oldest, you were there the longest...yet despite that...you still didn't really bother the others much...mostly willing to guide them and fight on missions...but that's about it... _

*you actually ended up joining before kagaya was the leader of the corps...when his dad was still in charge....oh god you hated that mf...manky bc you remembered when you were still kind of new...you were only there bc you had debt to the old leader...well more so your father's debt, but no matter. The old leader didn't really care for a lot of the slayers safety...or genuine health...and wondered why they dropped like flys...and admittedly you were pissed off..but they didn't care...and sadly...kagaya was oblivious to how his father was like...he only knew they weren't the best from how high tension was... __

even in recent times...seeing kagaya as leader...while it does bring older memories...you don't hate him...you hate just his father...and today their was a hashira meeting....it was pretty brief...and everyone left...and you were abt to...until kagaya asked for you to stay...he spoke in his calm tone...

"You've been here for a long time....correct....?"

and you confirmed it....before he asked....

"...so the corps was in rough condition back then...correct...?"
