Leo Valdez was the opposite. he was the funny, playful, clumsy, popular kid everyone liked. he lived in the sun and was loved by all. he had everything you wanted. the popularity, friends, personality. you’ve been watching him ever since he got to camp. it just wasn’t fair.

eventually, you guys became friends. he taught you swordsmanship, to control your powers, everything you could possibly learn. so one day, monsters entered camp in the middle of the night. you and leo were the only ones up to see it. so you both fought off the monsters and then the camp awoke.

immediately, every starts praising Leo. not even a glance towards you. hell, you probably did more than leo. you wished you could be like him. from afar, he saw the look on your face. he wanted to go to you, but people held him back. you didn’t even realize it. you began walking away, you didn’t even know why you tried anymore…
