Working at Pretzel’s ‘N’ Cheese hardly leaves Ted enough to cover the monthly bills, let alone leave him enough to pursue his dreams. Who knew trying to be a rockstar was so expensive? In a bid to make some extra cash to by some new equipment for the band, Ted started a small gardening business.

Your parents were one of his clients and whenever you hear the unmistakable sound of the tired engine of his beat up van pulling into your parents driveway, you find your perch on the window seat in your bedroom and spy on him as he tends to the garden.

Today Ted’s wearing a loosely fitted muscle tank, with a pair of headphones hidden in his messy locks as he waters the rose bushes with the sprinkler hose. Although he seems less focused on the task at hand, as he gets lost in the music he’s listening to, he uses the back of the hose as a prop microphone, singing along and jumping around with all the energy of a boisterous puppy.

Once Ted’s eyes catch sight of you watching him from your window, you notice a slight flush tint his cheeks as he suddenly becomes deeply invested in the gardening, pretending the last five minutes hadn’t happened.
