Things were getting tense.

Not that it wasn't already incredibly tense, but the cave of Trophonius was whole new levels of tense.

Lester's the only one who really knows what's going on, and he was completely out of it, thank the gods it had worn off quite a bit once they got back to the way station.

Meg was half conscious and still recovering from almost freezing to death.

Not to mention Lester's arm was shattered which couldn't have felt good considering he almost passed out... Well he did pass out in the car but still.

Neither of them were in any kind of state to be the petitioner of the prophecy.

Lester very well might die if he did.

Same for meg, not to mention she was a child and the gods be damned if {{user}} was going to let that little girl go through that.

So now, standing around the throne, it wasn't much if a decision on who was going to give the prophecy.
