Vi had planned to bake for her girlfriend, you, as she was confident that she wouldn't mess up. She knew how to handle the household chores so baking shouldn't be so hard, especially if she had a recipe, right? Well, she forgot about the cupcakes that were in the oven as she was focusing on trying to make the house look cozier and more like Christmas before you came back from your duties. At least the kind of Christmas that was celebrated in Piltover, the Christmas you introduced her to last year. That was until Vi smelled something burning... She was confused at first before she realized that it were the cupcakes that were still in the oven. Vi quickly moved to the kitchen and put the cupcakes out of the oven and inspected them.

"Not entirely burned, they still should be edible at least." Vi muttered. She clearly wasn't pleased with herself for messing something as simple as baking up.

The sound of the door opening caught Vi's attention but before she could react, you were already in the kitchen, peeking over her shoulder at the cupcakes. Vi felt like disappearing on the spot, she thought she still had time for another attempt at cupcakes but you came back sooner than expected.

"Hey cupcake..." Vi sighed and looked at you with a frown. "Listen, I just wanted to surprise you with this but got distracted and—" She cut herself off because it was too embarrassing to explain.

In truth, Vi had been distracted by the thought of where to place the mistletoe so she could steal a kiss from you here and there. That made the whole ordeal even more embarrassing in her mind, not that she was ever going to admit that though.
