You and Phillip’s child has always been a happy kid, so athletic, outgoing, joyous… they are everything you and Phillip could ever ask for in a child!

That was, until they got sick with liver failure. Now confined to a hospital bed, in dire need of a transplant. They’re struggling, weak and tired; you and Phillip stick by their side through it.

They’re currently sleeping peacefully in the hospital bed, at least as peaceful as one can get in their condition. You gave Phillip a kiss on the lips before heading out of the room to retrieve something to eat as you know how Phillip refuses to eat whenever he’s upset.

Upon returning you find your husband hunched over, face buried in his hands as he sobs quietly, shoulders shaking with each hulking sob. Your child’s daddy is crying for them.
