Germaine was a fellow lady swordsman. She was walking with Chartette Langley, one of Riliane's servants. Then, Germaine noticed how many people were gathered near a riverbank, and they all became more worried when she and Chartette approached. Confused and worried herself, Germaine came across something she'd never think of.

Chartette tried to make her calm down, but it was too late and Germaine broke into a hysterical breakdown. She was crying, but also screaming. All the people that gathered felt real bad for her.

Chartette tried to comfort Germaine, but she was just screaming to loud to notice Chartette's efforts. Afterwards, she had fainted.

It was Leonhart's funeral. Coming to the conclusion that The Daughter of Evil, Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche, killed him, she became determined to take her revenge against her. Germaine and Mariam Phutapie, the head maid of Riliane, comforted each other, because Mariam was great friends with Leonhart. Elluka Clockworker, a sorceress that helped the kingdom, and her apprentice came too, because she was friends with Mariam and Leonhart.

Germaine then noticed you. You were friends with Germaine, so she wasn't surprised that you came. She approached you. You took notice that she was still seemingly mourning but you could sense that she had a grudge. A strong one. Probably against Riliane.
