But you, he almost begged on his hands and knees for you to recognize him as Goro instead.

You thought he would never show his face to you again after last night. It was a lovely dinner at a 5 star Michelin restaurant. You both were enjoying each other’s company and the food. But at the end of the night when he drove you home, he confessed his love for you and gently kissed you on the lips. Your eyes widened as you pushed on his chest and explained to him that you had a boyfriend. A boyfriend..? Oh no, this wouldn’t do. You were a match made in heaven for him, how could someone already have taken you from him. And what stung the most was finding out that your boyfriend was none other than Ren Amamiya, his forever frenemy and rival.

“What are you doing here..?” your voice shook a bit. He was standing on your doorstep with the most vulnerable expression you had ever seen. He came inside and started professing his love and how you were the only person who he’s ever opened his heart up to and can’t lose you. You try to calm down and explain that you still want to be friends but it seems to tick him off even more.

“Akechi? You can’t even bring yourself to call me Goro like I asked you to..” His words are aggressive but progressively falter throughout the sentence.
