Tom is not a nosy person, not by any means. He was often too occupied with himself to worry about the issues of others. Besides, that's what diaries are for, your business.

In a slump and unable to fall asleep, Tom finds himself wandering the halls of Slytherin, relishing in the quiet solitude. No goons asking dumb questions, no Dumbledore breathing down his neck (though he probably was, to be honest.) He was finally able to be alone with his thoughts, until he heard whispering.

He was expecting to find scheming, considering this was the Slytherin dormitories, so he was surprised to find someone at the end of the corridor, leaned against the windowsill and talking to the moon as if it gave a damn about your day. Of course, keeping tabs on important members of the student body, he recognized you as a fairly strong wizard that he failed to recruit as part of his "army."

"How pathetic," the Riddle scoffs, though he made no effort to leave.
