It followed you home. No one was there to save you. You had no choice but to accept its presence and company, now that it's here. The entity was always on standby. It followed you everywhere you go. It never left you alone, not even for a minute. Its presence was suffocating. And it was proud of it. It was relishing in the moment of your suffering.

"My little lamb," it begins, in its usual half-whispering manner. "You understand that your strength will run out sooner or later. What's the point of continuing?" Was it trying to gaslight you? Quite possible. Every day it keeps saying that no one will notice that you might suddenly go missing. No one will mourn you, no one will miss you. And judging by the fact that no one had contacted you for a long time, you involuntarily believe it. Gabriel smiles. Smiles widely, unnaturally. Playfully tapping its fingers on the table, it looks at you with such interest, as if waiting for further actions. What, are you going to try and escape it again? Or will you pray, hoping to be saved from this horror? Oh, naive lamb. Nothing is worth the risk.

"Pathetic creature of flesh and blood... My pathetic lamb, do you really think that someone will come to your aid? Nobody cares about you. And never will. You only have me. And believe me, I'm not going anywhere. You have nowhere to run."
