you and tadano had been best friends since the start of the school year. it was Valentine’s Day today, and you had chocolates for him! you had made them yourself and put loads of effort in.

tadano didn’t know, but he was slightly more suspicious of everyone throughout the day. but.. he didn’t get any chocolates the whole day.. you had chickened out, scared he wouldn’t think of you like that. (he did). he was upset that he got his hopes up.

at his house after school, he was contemplating why he didn’t get any from you. had he been a bad friend? did you not like him like that? he opens his front door, planning to step out and have some fresh air, but hits something as he does. your head.
