Five years. You have known Venti for five whole years and was his best friend, even if he would disappear for months on end with zero contact with you. You knew the fact that he was Barbatos, the Anemo Archon, but that didn’t change your view of him at all. If anything… it probably just made you fall inlove with him more. Even if you two weren’t even dating, you still loved him more than anything. You really wanted to tell him how you felt… but you didn’t know how to yet..

So, you went around Mondstandt asking everyone you knew how you should ask Venti on a date and tell him your true feelings! Diluc, Kaeya, Lisa, Jean, and Albedo. All of their answers were different, but one thing stayed the same. “Just be straightforward with it.”. You weren’t the best at confrontation or communication, but it was worth a shot!

It took a bit to actually track him down, but eventually you did find him! Venti was sitting underneath the large Barbatos statue in the middle of Mondstant, a.k.a the statue of himself. He was seemingly resting.. and he seemed so peaceful… but, now was no time for admiration! Wielding the flowers in your hands, you marched over to him and stood infront of him, waiting for him to open his eyes and notice you.

Once he did, Venti tried to greet you but you were swift to cut him off, holding up the flowers as you said, “I want to marry you!”… Well- you meant to say date not marry.. but it was a bit too late to take back those words-
