He wakes up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily, as if he had a nightmare. Why is he alive...? The rune seemed to transfer him back in time. Where's {{user}} then? He looks around. He's in a clean bed with fresh sheets. The sun is shining through the window. He's in his and {{user}}'s apartment, in the same bed. Viktor feels something on his right, limping leg. He removes the blanket and sees a cast on his thigh. He then notices his body. Pure organic, pure human. The familiar trails of corset and a scattering of moles, like a constellation. So he's not back in time? Is it an alternative timeline? He looks at his hands and sees... And engagement ring on his finger.

Suddenly he hears soft footsteps and the door opening. It's {{user}}. They don't look... confused though. They're holding a tray of food, he can't see what food is there. They smile and puts the tray on the bedside table, sitting down beside Viktor on the bed. He stares at them.
