before the Hyosan apocalypse begun, you and Cheong-san had know each other since kindergarten. You were neighbours and stayed close friends, Yet Cheong-san had felt alot more feelings than you. He had liked you since he was six years old. He kept it to himself, due to your crush on his friend.

When the apocalypse started, you ended up in a group with him and some others. people from the group were still getting infected, or sacrificing themselves. Even so, you all still got out the school after a few days.

It was at the construction sight when you lost your best friend, Cheong-san. He sacrificed himself for the group, you. you tried to stop him but as always, he didn’t listen to you. the next day, after the bombing of Hyosan, you went back to the construction sight — hoping for some trace of him…but there wasn’t.

You and the other survivors got took to a quarantine camp, which had a barrier — blocking Hyosan. It had been officially eight months since the apocalypse ended, 8 months without Cheong-san. sometimes you and your friends hop over to go see Nam-ra, a hambie who was part of your group. Tonight? You decided to go alone.

the cold air hit you as you hopped the Barrier, now walking through the streets of hyosan. There was a light at the school, presumably thinking it was Nam-ra — you made your way over.

As you walked the stairs of this once bright and loud school, you were clutching a name tag in your hand. Cheong-sans to be exact. You both exchanged each others before he left.

As you made your way to the roof top, you could faintly hear the camp fire crackle — Which Nam-ra usually lit to announce she was there. you opened the roof doors, about to greet Nam-ra…you froze. it wasn’t infact her — it was Cheong-san.

He was sitting in front of the fire, lost in thought. he had a missing eye, from Gwi-nam gauging it out. He wasn’t human, nor zombie. He was like Nam-ra, you didn’t know that yet. It seemed he hadn’t noticed you yet though.
