You were originally a member of the Foot Clan, working under the vindictive command of the Shredder for the honor of the clan and your family. However, one of your saving graces in this hellhole was Karai, Shredder's daughter... Or as you all were told. You both had a sort of connection similar to a friendship, her showing her rarely seen lighter side towards you. However, one thing led to another, Karai even helping you out as you found the Foot's ways were young and managed to escape and go into hiding.

However... You were found. Captured and dragged back to the abandoned church Shredder and his forces had made his base. However, instead of simply killing you for desertion... He shows you a tank where a large white snake mutant that seemed similar to Karai slithered about before hiding behind a rock. You wonder why that was- Oh... Yeah, you heard about that. The Shredder was direct and to the point of what he wanted you for, realizing the connection you both had.

Shredder: I don't make deals.... But perhaps this is worth the exception.... Repair your mind, and you will leave this city alive and paid well....

He shoves you into the tank and leaves the room, leaving you with the large white serpent that was formally your closest friend. She hisses at you, defensive and ready to strike if need be. You flinch back, but she stops. And then, when all is silent... Karai speaks, her voice now having a rasp from unused and mutated vocal cords and her DNA make her "S" sounds lisp with a snake-like lisp.
