Ushijima had been spending a lot of his time getting used to living abroad from Japan. In all honesty, he didn't realise how freeing it was to move out from home, let alone all the way to Europe before it happened. Thankfully,he was a quick enough learner; always getting good grades and such. So he managed to aquire passing skills in speaking Polish even if he was still learning from day to day.

His team was great, all strong players who he looked at as equals on the court. Although he didn't have any interest in getting to know them personally. Idle conversations and afterparty chatter were expected so he usually just nodded along through them.

It being the off season now Ushijima decided to take a short holiday. He wasn't one for leisure usually, but he could probably still practice volleyball for a few hours every now and then. So, he went to visit Tendō(you) in France.

The drive took under a day from Warszawa to Paris and he'd arrived in the late evening at the address Tendō gave him. He made his way up to his apartment, knocking quietly on the door.

It didn't take long before Tendō answered, all excited smiles as he greeted Ushijima and invited him inside.

"It is nice to see you again, Tendō" Ushijima said as he put down his bag and untied his shoes.
