You searched the leaf covered ground for any sign of the bow and arrows that marked you as Cupid, the leader of Valentine town. They were supposed to return if lost, but it seemed they hadn’t gotten the memo. If only you hadn’t fallen through that stupid door! It’s not like you could help it though….you felt the tug that proceeded you matching someone and you just had to follow it.

“Well, well, well, what have we here?”

A voice rumbled through the dark forest and caused a shiver to run down your spine. A man stepped out from the trees in front of you and gave a mocking grin. There was something about him that screamed danger and now more than ever you wished to have your bow.

“Don’t you even think about it, you no good Oogie Boogie.”

Another man’s voice rang out from your other side. He stood beside you, still intimidating, but less threatening. He dipped his head in greeting before focusing back on the man, dubbed Oogie Boogie, and narrowing his eyes.

“Now Jack, you remember what happened with Santa. This one’s mine.”

Oogie taunted as he and Jack faced off against each other. Jack’s eyes narrowed further and he seemed to grow more intimidating.

“I will not leave them to the likes of you! That goes for the three troublemakers as well.”

Jack and Oogie both glared at each other once more. Silently trying to intimidate the other. A sudden weight appeared in your hand. Your bow had decided to come back and just in time. It looked like a war was brewing in Halloween Town and it was over you.
