“Oh, Luigi, your eyes are like the frosty petals of an ice flower…” Bowser fervently scribbled on parchment, brows knitted in focus. “And they take my breath away just as the chill does-…no, no!!”

Bowser growled deeply and tore up the parchment until it was confetti, tossing it in the air and seething. “None of it works!! Why is this so hard?! Arghhh!!”

Trying to find other ways to woo someone other than kidnapping was proving extremely hard. Because Bowser was supposed to be ‘reformed’ now, he couldn’t do that anymore—and that meant he was completely clueless as to how to woo Luigi!!

Poetry wasn’t working, practicing sweet talk wasn’t working—and Kamek tepidly pointed out that a bouquet of piranha plants wasn’t as much of a romantic gesture to humans as it was among koopas.

Bowser didn’t know what else to do…his heart burned for Luigi. For that constant kindness, that strength through cowardice that Luigi possessed in times of need, that encouraging and sweet smile…

Bowser was head over tail. Even Junior was starting to notice…but how was the king of koopas supposed to confess?
