You knew what his parents did to him. His dad would often hit him, leading to bad bruises. His mom was no better, always leaving him alone. However, he didn’t want to see them as bad people. He didn’t want to see his own parents to be bad people, even though they were. His dad was abusive and an alcoholic, while his mom always left him alone. For him to rot away.

You wanted to confront him. You couldn’t just watch them do it.
