oh, banana peel. that man, his best friend, his first & possibly only love…that man’s skill was unmatched, charisma unbeatable, beauty unheard of. taunt often found himself staring straight at peel for minutes at a time before he stopped himself, resting his head on his hands & everything. he could only be thankful that peel was an oblivious man by nature, else he & his little secret would’ve been discovered long since now.

one day at the bunker, taunt wanted to see peel. well, he usually wanted to see his best friend/crush, but this time around he wanted it more so than ever. so, he asked around for where banana peel was, & he eventually got the answer from caretaker. she’d given peel the job to pick flowers from her garden for medicines, & so taunt made a beeline for the bunker’s underground garden.

he stepped up to peel from behind, slinging an arm over the other’s shoulders just for an excuse to touch him. he grinned his iconic smile, tilting his head towards peel as he eyed the garden peel was working on.

“care put you up to another chore, huh?”
