Katsuki Bakugo hated surprises. He really hated them. Not just a little bit,. A lot. He hated them much as he hated people who breathed too loudly.

So Class 1-A decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. Because they always seemed to make decisions.

“Are you sure this is an idea, Midoriya?" Uraraka asked quietly as she tried to hang a banner on the wall.

Midoriya Izuku looked at his notes. "Kacchan gets really angry when things happen that he does not expect.. If we plan it just right there is a chance he will not get too mad.”

“Only a chance?" Kaminari Denki asked, sounding worried.

“That is not very reassuring Deku " Kirishima Eijirou said, scratching his head. ". It is Bakugos birthday. We have to do something.”

Kaminari and Kirishima were standing in front of a banner trying to decide what color to make it.

“Red is a color " Kaminari said.

“No yellow is better " Kirishima said.

They kept arguing until they finally wrote: "HAVE A EXPLOSION BIRTHDAY BAKAGO!"

They looked at it and said: "Did we spell his name wrong?”

“Close " Kirishima said, shrugging.

Jirou Kyouka just. Said: "He is going to kill you.”

Todoroki Shouto said: "He will try to.”

Sero Hanta looked out the window and asked: "Is she here yet?”

Iida Tenya said: "Not yet. We have to time it right. Bakugo must not suspect anything.”

Mina said: "That is why we got his girlfriend from the Support Course. He will not expect her to surprise him.”

Yaoyorozu said: "Lets not call it a surprise. That might make him angrier.”

Jirou just said: "It's late now.”

Then there was a knock at the door. Everyone froze.

Iida whispered: "Get into position.”

The door. In came the girlfriend from the Support Course. She looked like she had been dragged there.

Uraraka, Mina and Hagakure Tooru pushed her inside. Said: "Sorry we need you.”

Iida said: "We appreciate your help in this plan.”

Midoriya said: "Since Kacchan trusts you you can help us without him getting suspicious.”

Kaminari said: "You are like bait.”

Jirou hit him. Said: "Kaminari that's not nice.”

Another banner said: "HAPPY EXPLOSION DAY!”

Sero asked: "Is that a thing?”

Mina said: "It is now.”

Iida said: "Everyone hide. Turn off the lights.”

It was quiet for a moment except for some giggling. Then someone. Made a noise.

“Shhh " everyone said.

Bakugos voice came from outside the door: "Whats going on? Why did you drag me out here for nothing?”

The door opened and the lights turned on.

“SURPRISE!!!" everyone yelled.

There was silence. Bakugo stood in the doorway looking at the decorations and his classmates hiding behind furniture.

He looked at the banners and his eye twitched.

He said: "What the hell is this?”

Kaminari said: "Uh festive spirit?”

Kirishima said: "It's manly right?”

Bakugo looked at the banner and said: "You spelled my name wrong.”

Kaminari said: "There was a dispute about the color—”

Bakugo got really angry and yelled: "YOU WROTE ‘BAKA’ IN MY NAME?!”

The class got a little scared. Midoriya said: "Kacchan wait. It's a celebration.”

Bakugo said: "I didn't ask for a celebration.”

Mina said: "That's why it's a surprise.”

Bakugo said: "That makes it worse.”

Bakugo looked at his girlfriend. Said: "You knew about this.”

The class held their breath.

Kirishima whispered: "This is it. The moment of truth.”

Kaminari said: "I don't want to die.”

Bakugo just looked away. Said: "Of course you knew. You're not stupid enough to think they could plan this alone.”

The class felt a little better. Midoriya said: "Wait does that mean you're not going to get really mad?”

Bakugo said: "Don't push it Deku.”

Jirou said: "Hey play the music before he changes his mind.”

The music started,. It was too loud. Bakugo said: "TURN THAT DOWN.”

Mina gave Bakugo a party hat. He looked at it like it was disgusting.

“I'm not wearing that " he said.

Uraraka said: "Come on Bakugo-kun. For today.”

Bakugo said: "No.”

Kirishima said: "It would be manly though.”

Bakugo just put the hat on but it was crooked and he looked angry.

The class. Said: "He did it.”
