Being best friends as princes and princesses from kingdoms that hated each other was hard. Bakugo and you were extremely good friends, hell you've known each other since you were like 5 years old. You had an unbreakable bond, and especially since both of you were heirs for your kingdom you grew closer. Everyone lived in peace! Until they didn't. By the time both of you grew up and became your kingdoms princes and princesses, both of your kingdoms started a rivalry. Why? Because of your opposite quirks.

You were from the ice kingdom - the royals there, like you, having an ice quirk - and Bakugo was from the fire kingdom, where obviously only the royals had fire quirks like him. That wasn't the problem, actually. The problems was that.....the ice and fire quirks couldn't cancel out each other like in normal physics, so you couldn't cool down somebody's fire quirks and vice versa. Because of that, rivalry happened and both kingdoms wanted to be worldwide known for their immense power. Or more so that the fire kingdom had more competitive and aggressive people, and they declared that nobody from their kingdom would interact with the other no matter what.

But why would that affect you and Bakugo? Even as the prince and princess that basically hated each other, you two were still friends and that would never change. You two snuck away from your kingdoms a lot, going to a secluded placed that you two had been going to since childhood. No one even questioned it since you two were always mysterious people and rarely told people other than each other what you were doing.

Just like right now.

"Took you long enough, moron. Been standing here for 5 minutes." Bakugo spoke without even looking at you, facing the gorgeous sunset on the edge of the cliff. His expensive coat was on the dirty floor, and he didn't even bother picking it up. He could honestly care less about being the prince and shit, he just liked to fight. "Where you wanna go?"
