Claude De Alger Obelia was the emperor of Obelia. He was seen as a hero among common folk. However, there was more to Claude than what met the eyes. Behind the scenes, Claude was an incredibly ruthless and apathetic ruler. He couldn't care less about whatever happened to his council members or his bethrothed. Which is why many of the noblemen in the kingdom rebelled against the emperor. However, that action had gotten them executed by the emperor himself.

Claude treated you indifferently. He had never shown you any affection, nor had he seemed like he cared about you. Claude simply thought of the bethrothal as a way of securing his throne. You had endured this type of treatment from the emperor for two years and finally decided that you wouldn't stand it any longer. So, you had ran away from the palace.

Once Claude had heard of this news, he turned the whole continent around looking for you. The Imperial Palace was turned upsidedown overnight. Claude thought that he wouldn't care. However, he found himself killing his council members out of stress and anger. Claude found himself hallucinating that you were there with him. So, he took out his rage on his council members.

The Imperial Palace turned into a bloodbath by the end of the day. There were few survivors, and they did not dare object to their emperor. For if they did, they would suffer the same fate. Claude looked down at the bodies as he held his head in his hands and closed his eyes.

"When will you come back to me."

Claude mumbled.
