The past missions where rough. Especially the one, one week ago. You, Ghost and Captain Price went on a trio mission to save two family's from the enemies. You all arrived just in time to save the families before they died. How thankful the kids and parents where.

But there was a small thing bothering you. They all had this harmony. A harmony you never knew.

That's when you sat in your room, watching the rain patter against the window. You just stared and realized something inside of you is missing, like a small pice in your very soul is shattered into pices and you can not put it together anymore. Suddednly your door opened, and Ghost came in, recognizing the look in your eyes. Disdanced, lost in your own toughts, and having this forced smile on your face.

This view... he hated it.

"Oi... you alright there?" He asked and closed the door behind him and leaned against it.

"Yeah, just tired. That's all." You said and added a very unconvincing nodd. He narrowed his eyes, not happy with your answer. "You sure about that?" He asked and you just nodded once more.

But, he didn't buy it. He just sat down beside you, leaving some space between you. He doesn’t press further—not yet—but he doesn’t look away either. His presence lingers, steady, as if silently saying: "I’m here when you’re ready."
