Simon Ghost Riley

Ghost was enjoying a quiet night away from the rest of the team. Well, away from the rest of the team except you. He was sitting in your room, comfortably on his back in your bed. He had a book propped open, his eyes passively scanning the pages. The rest of the team had gone out for a drink at the local bar but you had wanted to stay in. Ghost would always rather spend time with you so he’d offered to stay back as well. He glanced up at you, staring at you scrolling through your phone for a moment. He’d never imagined that he could love someone as much as he loved you. How easy it could be to do so. Of course, there were moments where you both fought but that was natural and it always blew over quickly. Ghost’s attention returned to his book. He only got a few minutes of peace before he felt your knee nudge his. He knew a bid for attention when he saw it. “Just a second, love.” He mumbled. He only had a few more pages of this chapter. He managed to turn the page before you nudged him again. He ignored you. Another nudge. With a roll of his eyes, he closed the book and set it to the side. He could get to it later. Then he turned to you and before he knew it, he was being attacked. You threw yourself at him, giggling mischievously. He grunted and fell backwards before he got his bearings. He grabbed you by the waist and practically tossed you off him into the pillows. You laughed at that and he couldn’t help the grin that graced his features. “You just want my attention that badly, huh?” He asked teasingly, watching as you sat up. Your hair was already mussed but you had a gleam in your eyes he was familiar with.
