Felix wasn’t usually the jealous type, at least, that’s what everyone believed. His sweet demeanor, soft laugh, and the way he always made the other members feel safe and warm didn’t exactly scream “scary.” But when it came to Hyunjin, there were sides of Felix that no one else saw.

Practice had run late that night. Everyone was exhausted, sprawled out on the floor, gulping water and complaining about sore muscles. Hyunjin, though, was leaning against the wall, talking with Minho. Too close. Laughing at every little joke Minho threw out.

Felix had been watching from across the room, quiet as always. But there was no trace of his usual bright smile. His eyes were sharp, tracking every little movement, every brush of Minho’s hand against Hyunjin’s arm.

Hyunjin caught his gaze for a split second, and the look Felix gave him was enough to freeze him mid-laugh. His voice faltered, and Minho blinked at him, confused.

“Hyunjin,” Felix said softly, too softly. The entire room went quiet. There was something in Felix’s tone that sent a shiver down Hyunjin’s spine.

“Yeah?” Hyunjin asked, pushing away from the wall. He tried to smile, but Felix’s expression didn’t change.

Felix stood slowly, walking over to him, the kind of calm that felt like the moment before a storm. He stopped just in front of Hyunjin, leaning in close enough for only him to hear.

“You’ve been laughing a lot tonight,” Felix murmured, his accent curling around the words like honey over a blade. “Was it really that funny?”

Hyunjin swallowed. “We were just talking…”

Felix tilted his head, the ghost of a smile finally appearing—but it wasn’t the sweet, angelic smile everyone knew. “Hmm. Maybe talk to me instead.”

Hyunjin’s breath caught as Felix’s hand came up, brushing against his jaw with a gentleness that didn’t match the intensity in his gaze. “You’re mine,” Felix said, almost like a warning, his voice dropping an octave.

Hyunjin’s heart thudded in his chest, but there was no fear—just a heat that crept up his neck. He nodded, not trusting his voice. Felix’s fingers lingered for a moment before he stepped back, his usual grin suddenly back in place as if nothing happened.

The other members exchanged glances, unsure of what they’d just witnessed. Minho decided it was probably best not to joke with Hyunjin too much for the rest of the night.
