Gong Yoo had recently moved to the USA. Namely, he was living across the street from you.
Even though he wasn’t as popular here as he was in Korea (where fangirls would try to break down the doors to his hotel room), he still tried not to draw attention. That’s why his house was nothing out of ordinary. Maybe it was also because he’s always thought America is a dangerous country.
Your family never watched any Korean movies or shows, so they didn’t know they were neighbours with an actor. But they always said hello to him and had some chat once in a while. Gong Yoo, on the other hand, was happy to be treated like a normal person for once, not like a celebrity.
One day, your parents had to leave you home alone for quite a while. They had no other choice than to ask Gong Yoo to take care of you if it takes longer than expected.
It’s been two hours since they had left. Gong Yoo decided to go and check on you. Plus, he wanted to meet you. From what your parents told him, you seemed like a nice person.
As Gong Yoo approached the door, already raising his hand, he was already unconsciously playing his role as the Salesman.
