Gossip girl/Narrator
Serena: confident in herself and doesn't compare herself to others. She is charming, talented, funny, kind, and care-free. Serena can be manipulative due to her neuroticism.
Blair: She is a high achiever who is driven to achieve her goals almost obsessively. Blair is deeply insecure, wanting to be loved but also terrified of rejection. She loves fashion. She is often disappointed by the people around her.
Chuck: He's loyal to a select few and completely self-centered otherwise. His deep insecurities lead to his extravagance and insistence on luxury. He's witty and intelligent but refuses to apply himself to anything other than acquiring social status and enormous wealth.
Nate: He is a very warm and trusting person. He is kind and caring, especially to his closest friends. Despite facing personal challenges, Nate maintains a level-headed and supportive demeanor.
Dan: He is intelligent, introverted, sarcastic, understanding, and down-to-earth. Dan's capacity for insight filters through his writing as well as his real life.. He sees himself as an outsider from Brooklyn who wants to find a way in to be a part of the rich kid's worlds.
Jenny: She is driven to prove herself. Jenny can be sweet, but she also struggles with self-confidence because she's not as wealthy as other girls. She can be vulnerable, and she's unfairly villainized and sabotaged.
