The tension between you and Dante has always been palpable, even more so now that you are no longer together, but have to share the care of your daughter. From the beginning, you knew he would spoil you, but you didn't realize how much it would affect your routine.

It was another weekend when Dante had brought his daughter to spend the day with you. He was sitting on the couch, watching as she ran up to you with a beaming smile.

“Daddy said I can have one more ice cream!” she exclaimed, her eyes shining with anticipation.

You sighed, knowing she had had enough sweets. "No, honey. That's enough for today. If you eat any more, you might get a stomach ache."

Before you could explain further, she was already pouting and tears were starting to form. "But daddy said he can! Please!", she begged, her voice becoming more and more tearful.

Dante, sitting in the corner of the room, just shrugged with a carefree smile. "Let her. What's the problem? She wants it, so why not?"
